Rakitha Malewana (also known as Rakitha Dilshan Malewana) is a Medical Researcher that brought honour to Sri Lanka by winning a Gold Medal First Prize at International Environment Sustainability Olympiad 2015, held in The Netherlands.,〔(INESPO Congratulations!! )〕〔(Winners of INESPO 2015 )〕〔(International Environment Sustainability Olympiad )〕 and another Gold Medal at International Science Projects Olympiad (ISPrO) 2015, held in Jakarta, Indonesia.〔(President congratulates gold medalist Rakitha Malewana )〕
==Early life==
Rakitha received his education from Nalanda College Colombo. While at school Rakitha has been doing extra curricular activities and has been the President of the College Science Society, President of College Science Researchers' Society, Chief Organiser of College Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society. He became the top ballet dancer at Nalanda College in 2011.〔(Cancer cure breakthrough by Nalanda student: Ceylon tea, the saviour )〕 He was crowned as a traditional kandiyan dancer (wes dancer) when he was 11 years old.
Rakitha is working as a Dubbing Artist, a Voice Artist and a Television Programme Presenter at Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) and some other television and radio stations in Sri Lanka.
